    Gregg,

Have you heard of Jason Barden? He has a shop over in the Adirondacks- he builds custom A H Fox guns from an inventory of original parts. Might be something you’d like to take a look at- https://www.ahfoxparts.com/

    Hi Gregg,

I have an I Barella 12 ga SXS shotgun made in Berlin, Gremany in 1926. I don’t have any photo because you computer crashed. I will take some recent photos and send them to you as soon as I take them. I had the stock and forarm replaced several years ago. I still have the original stock and forearm that I Will take photos of them if that will help. I had the owner of the Gun Cabinet in Aiken, SC appraise several shotguns for me but the original owner, Jim Motes, retired and sold his shop. Jim Kelley in Darlington, SC replaced the stock and forearm for me. The reason I replaces the stock and forearm was that whoever made the stock and forearm was a great carver but not a stock maker and it didn’t fit properly so it was damaged.

    Thanks for you help,

    Joe Moyles

    Hi again Gregg,

I am trying to send some photos of my I Barella. Sorry about the quality, I am not a photograph. I can’t figure out how to attach them. I will soon be 78 and not as computer savvy as I would like to be.

    Thanks,

    Joe Moyles

    Hi Joe-

Thanks for your email. It sounds like you have a nice shotgun their. Without seeing it, though, I can’t say much about it. When you get some pics, email them to me at gregg@dogsanddoubles.com.

I’ll take a look and tell you what I think.

And remember: The more pics the better. The more I can see, the more I can tell.

    Have a great 4th.

    Gregg
