Browning’s O/Us are some of the most popular double barrel shotguns ever made. John Browning’s famous Superposed shotguns was introduced in 1931, and in 1973 the Browning company introduced their Citori line of O/Us.
Since then, Browning Citoris have earned a reputation as a well made double that delivers a lot of quality at a price many people can afford. In its lifetime, it has been offered in a wide range of gauges – 12g, 20g, 16g, 28g, & .410 – and configurations.

This 16 gauge Citori caught my eye as a good deal on an all around upland shotgun. If you want one gun that can handle everything from woodcock to pheasants, this is it. At $1,199 I don’t see how you can go wrong.

A 16 with 1 oz nickel shot in 5 1/2 and 6 1/2 shot watch out birds with longshot powder that’a my load amen. It’s just the right velocity to get it done with enough shot.
Yeah – that’s all you need. Plenty of lead.
Thanks for the comment.
