I’m back! Thanks for bearing with me while I’ve been away. Work & life have been hectic lately – big projects & tight deadlines in the office, plus my wife and I just bought a house. But things are calming down now, so I have time for this…

King Carol II of Romania was not a good guy, but he did have excellent taste in double barrel shotguns. Lewis Drake & Associates just had the King’s pair of 20 gauge Woodward over-and-unders on the market for $195,000. Not a bad pair of shotguns.

I was poking around on the British Pathe website yesterday checking old videos and I stumbled across the footage below. Amazingly, it shows King Carol shooting the pair of 20g Woodwards you see above. Check it out now.
