Bill Ballin used to be the resident trainer at Grouse Ridge Kennels in Oxford, NY. So when it comes to good grouse & woodcock dogs, he knows what he’s talking about.

Today, Bill trains and handles dogs at his own operation – High Grass Hill Kennels – and he has these pups available from RU CH. Grouse Ridge Bruiser X Lexi. They were born 7-28-2013 and they’re ready to go now.

  3. Gregg: Thanks for the post. It prompted me to take a day off and head north to meet Bill and his dogs. I ended up spending the afternoon walking the woods with Bill and a couple of his friends. We saw some birds and I came home with a beautiful puppy. My wife — who wanted to know where I got the idea that I needed another setter — loves the little guy and stopped asking where she could find you. Keep up the good work. John
