Here’s your chance to a Ruger Gold Label Side-by-Side shotgun. I saw one of these when they first came out and I thought it was a nice shotgun. It impressed many people, including Phil Bourjaily (Is the Ruger Gold Label a Failed Classic) and Jim Carmichael (A Ruger Classic, Outdoor Life).
But even though the Ruger Gold Label had many fans, the company killed it. Why? I’m not sure. While I think it sold well, the numbers may not have been high enough to make building it worth Ruger’s trouble. Gunrunner online auction has this one and the listing ends tomorrow, 04/14/15 @ 19:50:00. If you like what you see, bid on it now.

Hi Gregg,
Have you seen the Holland and Holland 20 gauge at Cole Gunsmith. It is a boxlock and the price and condition look good. Problem for me is the barrels are shorter than I like. But it is nice.

Thanks for the heads up. It looks like a nice gun, and it looks pretty much new.
