Love that Hussey- it would be a great high pheasant gun…
Yeah – it’s a great looking gun. If the bbls check out, it looks like a decent price, too.
Thanks for the comment. Hope all’s well with you.

Greg:
Did you see the Boss o/u on bsaltd’s site?
Also, the rebarreled pair of purdeys auctioned by bonhams sold of 35K-
All the best,
Dale
Yeah – I saw that Boss. I wonder why it’s still there? It looks like a ’30s gun, but I may be wrong. It’s either in fantastic original condition or totally redone. Can’t tell.
That’s a solid price for those Purdeys. I have noticed that Purdeys seem to be bringing stronger prices in the UK than in the US.
Have you seen anything else out there?

Greg:
That Boss at Bsaltd looks too good to be true- has to be a redo or perhaps a bore out gun???
Of recent interest I’ve noticed the following;
a McKay Brown o/u 20 on bsaltd for 39K
a Woodward 16 sxs on guns international for 36,500 being sold by Robert114
and most recently
a Purdey sxs 16 offered by Osprey. A 286xx gun for 42500.
I think the Mckay Brown is the best value of the 3-
Oh, and the 20 bore Woodward o/u on osprey- but its been there a long time- 72K…
