Spend some time looking at old doubles and you’ll discover Parker shotguns are not hard to find. That’s because Parker Bros and Remington built around 242,500 of them.
But very few of the ones you’ll see out there are like this one. It’s a 16g DH with damascus barrels, a long length of pull (14 3/4″), and an 0 frame (the lightweight size for 16s). Those four features put it in the hard-to-find/rare category when it comes to Parkers. It condition puts it in the have-to-have category when it comes to collecting.
Of course, it’s not cheap. But if you’re balking at the price, ask yourself this: When are you going to see another one like it?
