I’ve always been a fan of Ruger’s 28-gauge Red Label OUs. They handle well, they’re reliable, and they’re great all-around bird guns.
This one is coming up Saturday, March 13, @ Carol Watson Spring Antique & Modern Firearms Auction.
It has 28″ barrels and nice wood, which makes it’s special, and it looks like it’s in great original condition.
Lot #256: Ruger Red Label Field Grade Over/Under Shotgun: #420-02582. 28 ga. 28” vent rib barrels have 2-3/4” chambers and are fitted with Ruger choke tubes (5 included: 2 Skeet, IC, Mod. Full).
