The forend on this rifle is also fitted with system allowing the ejectors to be disabled for totally quiet operation of the action. Rifle also carries the numeral “3” on the top of the action. Rifle functions perfectly and shoots well with moderate recoil. Case is tattered but all there and serviceable. Original service load is 104 Grains of black powder with a 350 grain bullet. Factory records indicate the rifle was completed circa 1893/4, making this an antique that is not regulated by FFL modern firearms laws; thus can be shipped without going thru a FFL holder.
