I always wonder what some guns are really worth. Auctions are nice because they give you a chance to find out. And when this auction ends, we’ll know just how much money people will pay for a nice, 16g AYA boxlock SxS. It’s on Gunauction.com and the listing ends on May 2, 2016 17:44:24 PT.
Aguirre y Aranzabal (AYA) is one of Spain oldest and best known gunmakers. This boxlock was one of their lower-end doubles. It’s a basic, no frills Anson & Deeley style SxS with extractors. I’m sure it’s well made, and it looks like it be a great grouse & woodcock gun.
