Stunning Holland and Holland Best Quality 12ga “Royal” made for Abercrombie and Fitch – A fantastic game gun & near mint at 6lbs even: Fabulous ultra lightweight 12ga Holland. This gun is part of a small grouping made for Abercrombie and Fitch with a couple known in this serial number range having the same gold inlays and barrel markings. This gun, made with 26-5/8″ (67-1/2 cm), splinter forend with scroll engraved Anson type push button release. Made with double triggers, auto ejectors, non-auto safety (gold inlaid “SAFE” in front of safety slide. Beautiful straight grip buttstock with carved tear drops behind locks, long trigger guard tang, and terminates with its original checkered butt. The gun remains in beautiful excellent to near mint orignal finish with more than 97% original finishes throughout. There is a bit of toning on the trigger guard tang, from carry, not wear and tear. Bores are brilliant and shiny, mechanics are crisp. The gun has been shot but very well taken care of and is beautiful throughout. Price: $22,950*

Magnificently engraved, pristine Beretta S3EL 12 ga O/U sidelock from golden era (1956) with rare DT and ejectors in its factory case and cover: What a fantastic, classic configuration, a time capsule from the late 1950s, almost as-new.  Profusely engraved best quality hand-made gun from Beretta’s best era of engraving and workmanship (by the then still working pre-war generation of gunmakers).  These guns were Beretta’s tops and then were mostly hand-crafted in a seperate facility out of special steels for the barrrels (very hard hi chromium content) and highest quality wood and engraving.  Beretta’s pre-1960s ‘S” sidelock design is far superior and more expensive to make than those on the later “S0″designated  guns and certainly superior than today’s “SOs”. Rennaissance Scroll engraved sidelocks, receiver and mounts (furniture) of Master Quality signed in small engraved letters “U.G.” just forward of trigger guard.  Rare double triggers, auto ejectors, cocking indicators, auto safety. All original and “about mint” with all the blue and coin finish. Straight grip fancy walnut and fine checkering with original finishes in perfect condition. 14 9/16 in LOP to checkered butt. 1 1/2 in and 2 in drops, cast-off for RH is 1/4, pitch= 6 in. Matching checkered game style forearm. Barrels are 28 3/8″ in with solid rib choked 27 pts lower (.027) and 38 pts upper (.038),  2 3/4 in chambers. Mint bores and in perfect working order. This gun just has not been used and is as tight as new. Weight is 7 lbs, 3 oz and balances 1/2 in in front of hinge pin, very dynamic handling. With original Beretta EL grade fitted luggage case and original canvas protective outer cover. I am also including at this pricea new Negrini leather case with a canvas protective cover ($650 value) which I store it in, to preserve the original for another 67 years!  Price: $12,950*

Super Rare Luigi Franchi Condor SxS 20ga Matched Pair: It is very scarce to find a Luigi Franchi Condor model in 20ga inside the United States little alone a Matched Pair. This fine pair was constructed in 1950 for E. Casciano of Rome which was one of the largest provider of high grade guns in Italy at the time. This pair is identical in every way with the exception of the choking which I feel these were built for small gauge live pigeon competitions or for driven birds I am not 100% sure on either however a very nice pair indeed. This pair has the traditional square body actions which is uncommon for this model as well as the Full Coverage Best Quality Engraving as these were definitely special ordered and remain in excellent original condition cased in their original case which included”s two original keys . Seven pin locks with disc set strikers numbered in gold 1 & 2 on top levers and barrels & forends, ribs are concaved non matted tapered both with single bead front sights. Barrels are constructed of Vickers-Steel-Supercromato and are still remain as proofed in 1950. Price: $22,500*

Bottom of frame stamped “DUCK”. Barrels marked “WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL” and both marked “FULL”. Serial in the 19,xxx range and matching. Selective factory single trigger, automatic ejectors and nickel bead front sight. Extra quality factory walnut checkered stock and beavertail forend with the original finish. Some minor oil staining. Excellent checkering which is original and not refreshed. Chip out of forend at the left front which is an easy repair by a good stock man. Original factory “WINCHESTER” pad(pliable and no shrinking or petrification). Length of pull 13 5/8″, 2 3/8″ drop at heel, 1 1/2″ drop at comb as backed up by accompanying factory letter. 98-99% original blue and all the original wood finish with only very slight wear. Monogram “JSB” inset in silver in pistol grip base. Perfect working order and excellent, bright bores. Has seen only modest use and is in it’s original condition which is rare for a Model 21 Duck as most saw hard weather use and many are refinished. They were only made until 1952. The engraver, G.Ranetti, proudly signed this work on the trigger plate to the right of the trigger. The receiver is literally covered with extremely fine and detailed small scroll with interspersed acanthus and floral scroll over-lays. Perfect shading and delicated gold inlays in certain areas make this a memorable piece. This fine engraving work continues to the trigger guard, upper and lower tang, operating lever, butt plate frame and forearm latching hardware. This is the ultimate of 100% coverage. The bottom of the left barrel is engraved “W.L.Moore, Westlake, CA. Mod KING 1”.

Finely cut wrap around, 32 LPI checkering highlights the straight English grip and the splinter forearm. The high contrast grain of this European walnut will definitely turn heads for a second look. The forearm features a gold Fratelli Piotti coat of arms. This piece comes in a custom oak and leather case with protective brass corners and a lock. The case interior is burgandy cloth with oak compartments. If you’re looking for a solid, proven double at a great price, a Beretta 686 O/U is a tough gun to beat. My favorites in this line are the matte-black Onyx ones. I have straight-gripped 20 gauge that I used for grouse and woodcock. If I was in the market for something heavier, I would pick up this 12 gauge. It’s at auction now, so check it out right away.

With steel-shot approved 28″ bbls, 3.5″ chambers, and choke tubes, it’s all you need for everything from turkey to pheasants and ducks. It looks like it’s doing to be a great deal, too.
