Collector Condition 1958 Belgian Browning Superposed 20ga 26.5″ Choked Modified over Improved Cylinder: For sale from my Dad and I’s personal collection is a very nice Belgium Browning Superposed 20ga from the late 1950s. This gun is the desirable round knob long tang field configuration with field choked barrels which measure 26.5 inches with vent rib and choked Modified (**) over Improved Cylinder (**-). The wood is very nicely colored and has dark grain present throughout the stock and the forearm. One of the best-looking grade 1’s you’ll find anywhere. The condition is quite nice, there are only a few scattered handling marks to mention in either the wood or the metal. It is easily one of the nicest 1950s superposed I have ever seen and could sparsely be improved upon in condition or eye appeal. The action is very stiff and like new, it cannot be broken open without the use of both hands! Price: $4,650*

Super Rare Luigi Franchi Condor SxS 20ga Matched Pair: It is very scarce to find a Luigi Franchi Condor model in 20ga inside the United States little alone a Matched Pair. This fine pair was constructed in 1950 for E. Casciano of Rome which was one of the largest provider of high grade guns in Italy at the time. This pair is identical in every way with the exception of the choking which I feel these were built for small gauge live pigeon competitions or for driven birds I am not 100% sure on either however a very nice pair indeed. This pair has the traditional square body actions which is uncommon for this model as well as the Full Coverage Best Quality Engraving as these were definitely special ordered and remain in excellent original condition cased in their original case which included”s two original keys . Seven pin locks with disc set strikers numbered in gold 1 & 2 on top levers and barrels & forends, ribs are concaved non matted tapered both with single bead front sights. Selective factory single trigger, automatic ejectors and nickel bead front sight. Extra quality factory walnut checkered stock and beavertail forend with the original finish. Some minor oil staining. Excellent checkering which is original and not refreshed. Chip out of forend at the left front which is an easy repair by a good stock man. Exceedingly rare Parker Bros. CHE 12ga 3″ Magnum w/32″brls – Late Remington gun with incredible wood and dimensions in outstanding condition: Exceedingly rare gun made in 1939, this is the only 3″ marked “CHE” Grade I’ve ever seen. This exact gun, pictured on page 296 of the “Parker Story”. The gun made on a #2 frame (rare to find this late) with a beavertail forend, high raised rib, Parker Single Selective Trigger, auto ejectors, capped pistol grip buttstock, and original skeleton buttplate. The gun has fabulously figured American Walnut stocks with what are unquestionably factory sling swivels. Beautifully engraved by Runge with large flying duck on the trigger plate. Franchi Imperiale Montecarlo “best” sidelock 12 gauge SxS: Circa 1951 this Montecarlo was the absolute “best” gun available from Franchi for many years and since Franchi’s acquisition by Beretta it is still one of the “best” guns available from Beretta’s Premium gun line with a list price of over $100,000! This is a perfectly configured game gun: 28 3/8” long chopper lump barrels, 2 ¾” chambers, both sides being .723” bore diameter with choke constrictions of .023” & .035” which translates to tight modified and full. On top of the barrels is a hand-filed solid rib that tapers from 10mm (4/10”) to 6mm (1/4”) with a brass front bead. The coin finished frame is masterfully engraved in a 100% coverage fine floral, scroll and ribbon motif. The engraving continues on the fences, top tang and trigger guard. Excellent work. Double triggers with the front trigger being articulated. Non-automatic safety. The stock and matching splinter forearm are cut from nicely grained French Walnut. number 237237 completed on June 25, 1935. This is a Remington Era Parker. This shotgun’s rare features letter up nicely. Straight stock, 12 Gauge, 26-inch barrels, single trigger and large fore end. The Parker research letter listing all options is included. Condition is excellent with much of the original and bright Remington Era case color remaining on the receiver. The barrel blue is also excellent with some light handling and wear. Twin ivory beads. The barrel flats are marked SKEET IN & SKEET OUT. Frame size is 1 1/2. The original straight stock is excellent and has a LOP of 13 1/4 inches from the REAR POSITION Parker single selective trigger over a Larry DelGrego & Son pad. Nice original and timed action screws. Drop at heel is 2 3/4 inches and drop at comb is 1 1/2 inches. The original Parker Beavertail fore end is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and sharp original checkering. The shotgun is tight on the face with strong ejectors and proper functioning Parker single trigger. Weight is light at 7 pounds 9 ounces. Excellent bores. This has to be one of the best deals on the market right now. This 20g Franchi Instinct over-under has modern stock dimensions, a reliable single trigger, and screw-in chokes. It looks like it’s built on the same proven triggerplate-style action that a lot of modern Italian OUs use.

Sure the wood’s plain and the stock’s a bit chunky through the hand, but if I take my eyes off the trees and look at the forest, I see a darn nice shotgun. If you check out this review, you’ll see that other people agree: Review in Field & Stream

Franchi Instinct L 20 Gauge Over-Under Double Barrrel shotgun

Double-barrel shotguns tend to be expensive. But that doesn’t mean you can find nice ones for very fair prices — including brand new ones.

Just look at this 20g Franchi Instinct over-under. It’s is brand new OU with modern stock dimensions, a reliable single trigger, and screw-in chokes. It looks like it’s built on the same proven triggerplate-style action that a lot of modern Italian OUs use. And from what it says over on Franchi’s website, it weighs in at just dog whisker over 6lbs – just right for a 20g. When it comes to a good gun for a fair price, those features pretty much check all the boxes.
