All of the finishes, including the wood finish, are factory original and untouched. Virtually 98% factory case color remains on the receiver, bold and vivid (keep in mind the photo flash washes out some of the vividness. The colors show better in person). There is 98% factory original blue on the barrels. There is not one crack or split or repair anywhere in the wood, and the gun measures 14 1/4″ to the factory dogs head butt plate. The 26″ barrels have no dings or pits, a few light handling marks, mirror perfect bores, unaltered 2 9/16″ chambers, rough barrel weight stamped at 3-2 (which is lighter than most every “O” frame 16ga. you will find), and crisp clear lettering and rib matting. Even the factory jewelling at the breech face remains strong and clear (see photos). Price:$8,950

Last week was pretty slow for nice shotguns. A lot of stuff popped up, but not a lot of special stuff. Here are my pics for the best ones.
28 gauge Piotti Monaco
Piotti Monaco 28 gauge: 28” bbls, IC/M Chokes, LOP 14 ½, Weight 5lbs 11oz. Check out the engraving. Pretty amazing.
PARKER VHE 20GA: STRAIGHT STOCK, SPLINTER FOREND, EJECTORS, SPLINTER FOREND, DOUBLE IVORY BEADS, 28″, FULL/FULL, 14 1/4 LOP. Real hard to find with a straight stock.
20 gauge Parker VH, straight grip
Thomas Bland Boxlock 12 gauge: 30” bbls, 14 ½” LOP, 6lbs, 110z. This is a just good, solid boxlock. If it’s in all original condition and the bbls are decent, it’s very fairly priced ($2995).
