CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN CUSTOM RBL- 12 GAUGE
CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN CUSTOM RBL- 12 GAUGE

CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN CUSTOM RBL – 12 GAUGE: I have for sale a very special Connecticut Shotgun RBL 12 Gauge. I had this RBL custom made to my specifications. I traveled to the Connecticut Shotgun facility and picked out the wood blank for the stock and discussed just what I wanted in the gun. The stock blank was $1K. I wanted it light for a 12 so it is built on a 16-gauge frame and weighs 6Lb. 9 ounces on my digital scale. It has double triggers, and comes with six choke tubes ic through full in a nice leather case. I had them put a very classy metal heel and toe plate on the butt. The barrels are 28”. The LOP is 14 ¼”, DAC 1 ¼” and DAH is 2 ¼”. Perfect modern dimensions. Screws are perfect and have never been turned. I have used it mostly for Sporting Clays, but with the weight it is also suited for Pheasant, Grouse, Woodcock and Quail hunting. There are a few very minor safe marks in the stock and minimal wear to the ends of the barrels from going in and out of a soft gun case. The case colors are 100% and beautiful. The engraving is one of my favorites. I am selling it as I just do not shoot it much anymore and it should be appreciated and used by someone who would. This RBL is one of a kind and I do not think you can even get a custom RBL today. Price: $5,695*

Rare Pre-War Browning Double Single Superposed OU Shotgun
Rare Pre-War Browning Double Single Superposed OU Shotgun

Rare Pre-War Browning Double Single Superposed OU Shotgun: Rare pre war Belgian Browning 12 gauge Superposed built in 1935 with double single triggers. The double single trigger concept was devised by Val Browning, John Brownings son. Each trigger is a true single trigger. All the shooter has to do is choose which barrel to fire first and then pull the same trigger again to fire the 2nd barrel. A great idea, but too expensive to build in a highly competitive market. The double single triggers were only offered for 3 years,so these guns are very hard to find. This one has 26″ solid rib barrels choked improved cylinder and modified. Thie gun is in excellent original condition retaining 95% of the original blue and wood finish. The bores are mint and free of dents or rust. The barrels are on face and lock up tightly. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. The stock retains the original buttplate. I have fired this gun on clays and it functions perfectly. A rare piece of Browning history and a great all around shotgun for hunting or clays. Price: $2,900*

Super Rare Luigi Franchi Condor SxS 20ga Matched Pair

Super Rare Luigi Franchi Condor SxS 20ga Matched Pair: It is very scarce to find a Luigi Franchi Condor model in 20ga inside the United States little alone a Matched Pair. This pair is identical in every way with the exception of the choking which I feel these were built for small gauge live pigeon competitions or for driven birds I am not 100% sure on either however a very nice pair indeed. This pair has the traditional square body actions which is uncommon for this model as well as the Full Coverage Best Quality Engraving as these were definitely special ordered and remain in excellent original condition cased in their original case which included”s two original keys . UNFIRED 1914 A.H. Fox 20ga A-grade Side-by-Side
UNFIRED 1914 A.H. Fox 20ga A-grade Side-by-Side

UNFIRED 1914 A.H. Fox 20ga A-grade Side-by-Side: Hello, I have for sale a musuem quality fox 20 gauge A-grade that I acquired several years ago.  I have the factory order card for this gun and it is in the same condition as it left the factory.  This gun is unfired and is as MINT an example as you will find.  It would be impossible to upgrade this gun in any way.  All of the factory finishes are 100%.  This gun has been so well cared for that there is no rust, pitting, cracks, wear….nothing.  The factory wood finish is superb as is the checkering and the engraving/case colors are flawless and sharp.  This gun has the early snap-on forend and second generation “gough” style engraving.  Specs are as follows.  28″ barrels, double triggers, extractors, choked cyl/mod (as per factory card), 2.5″ chambers, mirror bores and 100% bluing throughout.  This gun has drops of about 1 9/16 and 2 7/8 and the LOP is the factory standard 14 1/8″ to 14 1/4″.  This gun has the factory buttplate and screws as well…all still mint.  Please, no low-ball offers.  Serious inquiries only.  I can provide additional pictures as needed for serious buyers. PS:  this is only the second year for 20 gauge foxes and a very early example with the gough engraving…quite a rare find here. Price: $8,750*

Fine and lightweight Francotte Model 20E 20ga Game Gun - with full provenance from G&H
Fine and lightweight Francotte Model 20E 20ga Game Gun – with full provenance from G&H

Fine and lightweight Francotte Model 20E 20ga Game Gun – with full provenance from G&H: Beautiful little lightweight side plated boxlock 20ga.  Made with 26″ fluid steel barrels, checkered splinter forend with Deeley push button release, double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety.  The side plates boxlock action is beautifully scroll engraved with Greener Crossbolt and barrels with perfectly fitted sideclips.  The pistol grip buttstock has fine figure and fiddleback and terminates with its original lined horn buttplate.  Housed in a beautiful original A&F case which is a toe under leather case. I’ve long felt that these Francotte guns are an exceptional value in today’s market – for the quality, it’s impossible to find a better hand built more durable gun.  And this one in 20ga! Overall the gun remains in pleasing original condition with more than 90% original barrel blue. Side plates and action retain about 1/2 of their original color with the balance a pleasing toned gray.  Stocks are sound and retain about 90% original finish with only minor handling marks. Buttplate is very good as seen in the photos. Case is fine with minor rubs. Included with the gun are several pages of fascinating research from Griffin and Howe researcher Bob Beach on the history of this gun as sold by Abercrombie and Fitch. Price: $6,795*

Awesome and beastly Parker DH 20ga 32″ – Dubray Gun with factory 2-7/8″ chambers: I have for sale an awesome and very early 20ga magnum DH Grade Parker. The gun was ordered in 1903 by Arthur DuBray and is Serial Number 119,763. It was ordered with factory original 32” Barrels on a “0” Frame. This is the earliest 20ga gun I have encountered with factory original 2-7/8″ chambers and the gun is an absolute beast. Made with double triggers, extractors, and splinter forend. The gun now has an older silvers type pad with 14 1/2” LOP. As best I can tell it has 0 cast and Drop at comb 1 5/8 “ and Drop at heel 2 5/8 “. These dimensions are fantastic! Here are the barrel measurements on the gun: Chokes R .019 L .027, Bore R .617” L .618” Barrel Wall Thickness (At thinnest point) R .044 L .041 Weight 7lbs. Overall, the gun remains in pleasing condition with more than 95% barrel blue, around 30-40% case color. Stocks have been expertly freshened up. The gun is mechanically superb, on face, and tight. These 32″ 20ga guns are highly coveted and this gun being a DuBray ordered gun with the letter, magnum chambers and straight stock/double trigger combo is absolutely a show stopper. Price: $16,500

The action, barrels, guard & tang and the forend iron have a very deep black high-polished finish with very tastefully inlaid gold vine and leaf borders with single bird game scenes of a flushing duck in cattails on the right side, a flushing woodcock in the alders on the left side and a rooster pheasant in the grass on the bottom of the action. Belgian Browning Super Light Superposed 20 Ga
Belgian Browning Super Light Superposed 20 Ga

Belgian Browning Super Light Superposed 20 Ga: Consigned to Cole’s is this very nice Belgian Browning Superposed Super Light in 20 ga with 26-inch barrels.  The shotgun bears serial # 223PW02990.  The bores are excellent.  The upper barrel is choked Mod (**) and the lower is choked IC (**-).  This shotgun weighs in at 5lbs 14 oz, a true super lightweight.  The shotgun has a long tang, straight grip.  The LOP is 14 ¾” and terminates with a Decelerator recoil pad.  The stock has various minor nicks and dings from days afield.    The gun is nice and tight and there is no looseness to be found open or when in battery.  The bluing is just starting to flake from the bottom of the receiver from carry.  Some very minor loss of factory finish is observed along the tang as well.  Again, this from honest use pursuing dove and quail.  One of the best I have seen or found out here in a very, very long time. Price: $4650

General Specs: Connecticut Shotgun, 2015±, 16 Ga, Weight 6lbs 12oz, Chokes LM/M, LOP 14 3/4″, DAH 2 1/2″, DAC 1 1/2″.  Many of you that enjoy shooting with the side by side shotgun are familiar with Tony Galazan’s well received RBL series of round bodied guns.  The gun presented here is an as new RBL RESERVE series from Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Co.  The RBL is a robust gun with excellent mechanics and a very appealing look with its bone and charcoal case colored receiver, gold plated triggers, and nicely figured walnut stock.  This gun shipped with 29” barrels that retain 100% of their fine rust blue, perfect bores, choked LM/M.  The metal overall retains 99.9% of the factory finishes, with the only wear of any kind at the safety on the top tang.  The wood has a very nice figure and retains all of its original finish and perfect checkering.  The gun balances dead on the hinge pin and has a very solid feel and comes to shoulder the way a fine side x side is supposed to.  Galazan has a solid performer with his RBL.  We have priced this gun to sell quickly, as I do not believe it has ever been in the field or used much at all.  There is only the faintest hint of a primer ring on the standing breech indicating very little shooting.  The RBL Reserve is a solid investment and will do you well on the sporting clays course or in the field. Price: $3,550
